Over 5,000 Smiles & Lives Transformed
I love creating smiles. I love being an important part in changing people’s lives through their smiles. I’ve helped patients of all ages, from infants with cleft lip and palate, to tweens and teens, to patients over 80 years old who have discovered that Invisalign is an easy, comfortable, and effective way to improve their smile. I love the diversity of patient needs. I love treating each patient as an individual, listening to their needs and concerns, and transforming their smile into a smile that exceeds their expectations.
My patients make me happy when they share their stories and achievements. They become an extension of my own family, and getting to know them and their families, as treatment progresses, is extremely rewarding.

I attend multiple local and regional orthodontics meetings throughout the year, always seeking to widen my knowledge and understanding of developing technologies and techniques. I want to continue providing my patients with ever-improved levels of comfort, greater convenience, and increased precision in developing their smiles. I am a regular attendee at the Damon Forum and have completed Levels 1 and 2 of SureSmile training.
I moved to Phoenix, Arizona 14 years ago. My wife, Colleen, and I have two sons, Jonah and Finn. Together we love family road trips and vacations. We enjoy being outside gardening, swimming, sailing, or skiing. As a native of Chicago, IL, it’s great to live somewhere that I can be outside year round!
I am a part-time professor of Orthodontics at A.T. Still University through the Arizona School of Dentistry & Oral Health. I bring to the residents a segment on technology and self-ligating braces. It’s a pleasure to work with these brilliant young dentists who are furthering their knowledge in the specialty of orthodontics.
One of my favorite volunteer activities is my involvement with Luke Air Force Base, as a former Honorary Commander and current member of the Blue Blazer Squadron, where we volunteer to promote Luke and support the men and women of the base. We are lucky to have Luke nearby and I am proud to support the Air Force members who keep us safe.
